Vivo V80 Lite 5G With A 10,000 mAh Battery Officially Launches In Malaysia
Technology-Portfolio.Net - Vivo V80 Lite 5G has been launched in Malaysia, featuring a 10,000 mAh battery as one of its standout features.
The new vivo V series phone released in the Malaysian market has different specifications from the V80 Lite that was introduced in Bangladesh and Pakistan.
The vivo V80 Lite 5G marketed in Malaysia is equipped with a 10,000 mAh BlueVolt battery based on fourth-generation silicon anode technology, with support for 44W fast charging and a reverse charging feature.
The company claims that the battery can retain at least 80 percent of its capacity after 1,400 full charging cycles, equivalent to around seven years of use under simulated conditions.
According to the company, the battery fitted in the V80 Lite 5G set a Guinness World Record for battery endurance in a continuous live broadcast test lasting 32 hours and 37 minutes.
With its large battery capacity, the V80 Lite 5G can be used for up to 68 hours of phone calls, 30 hours of watching movies or TV series, 30 hours of TikTok playback, and 14 hours of playing Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
Vivo says the battery is capable of maintaining power stability at temperatures of up to 45 degrees Celsius thanks to the support of a cooling unit with a 3,800-square-millimeter vapor chamber.
The vivo V80 Lite 5G phone uses a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 2000 nits.
Its camera system includes a 50 MP Sony IMX852 main camera and a 2 MP bokeh sensor on the rear as well as a single 32 MP front camera with a 90-degree field of view.
The vivo V80 Lite 5G is powered by a Dimensity 7300e chip with support for up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The phone runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, which brings features such as Origin Island, Drag and Go, Office Kit, Google Gemini, and AI Captions.
In addition, there are 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C, GPS, and NFC connectivity features.
The vivo V80 Lite 5G phone has IP68 and IP69 ratings and has passed five MIL-STD environmental tests.
The Vivo V80 Lite 5G comes in 6GB/128GB, 6GB/256GB, and 8GB/256GB RAM/ROM configurations priced at 1,499 ringgit (around $371 USD), 1,799 ringgit (around $445 USD), and 1,999 ringgit (around $495 USD), respectively, in Malaysia.
The phone, available in Emerald Green, Afterglow Pink, and Dawn Black, will go on sale starting September 11, 2026.
