Samsung Releases Galaxy C55 With 50 Megapixel Camera

Technology-Portfolio.Net - Samsung is known to have officially launched its newest smartphone for the Chinese market, namely the Galaxy C55. In appearance, this smartphone is similar to the Galaxy M55, but with a different approach.

This different approach was taken on the rear body of the Galaxy C55. Because, this smartphone has a rear body covered in orange and black leather.

Meanwhile, for specifications, this latest Samsung cellphone has a 6.7 inch OLED screen. This smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset.

To support its performance, there is a 5,000mAh capacity battery. What's interesting, the Galaxy C55 5G supports 45W fast charging and is one of the highest in Samsung's product line.

For your information, Samsung 45W fast charging capability is currently only available on the Galaxy S24 Ultra model. This capability isn't even included in the standard version of the Galaxy S24.

Photography matters are handed over to three rear cameras, namely a 50MP main lens, a 2MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro lens. Meanwhile, selfie needs are left to the 50MP front camera.

This Samsung cellphone comes in two color choices, namely black and orange. For memory, the Samsung Galaxy C55 5G comes with 8GB and 12GB RAM options combined with 256GB internal memory.

Currently, this smartphone is priced starting from 1,999 yuan or around $ 276 USD. For now, the Samsung Galaxy C55 is only available for the Chinese market and it is not yet known whether it will come to other markets.
